Locally owned shops and boutiques in Las Vegas

40 independent shops, every one locally owned.

Las Vegas shopping is more than the malls on the Strip. The shops on this page are independent and locally owned: vintage and clothing boutiques, makers’ studios, collectibles, toys and comics, and a few stores that have been around for decades.

Downtown, Fergusons Downtown turned a 1940s motel on Fremont Street into a home for local shops and makers, among them Fresa’s Skate Shop, Tofu Tees and Nikdreamer, who also teaches silversmithing. The Arts District has Main Street Peddlers Antique Mall, a 7,500-square-foot antique showroom, along with Glam Factory Vintage, Spilled Milk and, on Commerce Street, Akin Cooperative and The Good Wolf Lifestyle Co.. Near UNLV, Fruition LV has sold streetwear and vintage since 2005. Rockin Bettie on South Third Street carries pinup and rockabilly clothing in sizes XS to 4XL.

Some have long histories. Desert Art Supplies has been a family-owned art store since 1957, on East Charleston and in Henderson, and Navajo silversmith Erick Begay has run Erick Begay Native American Jewelry in Boulder City since 1993. Collectors can browse Toy Shack at Neonopolis, Nightmare Toys and Game Repair, which also fixes classic consoles. A few shops in Reno are listed as well.

Are these shops locally owned?

Yes. The 702 Alliance lists only independent, locally owned businesses, not chains or franchises. Each profile is researched from public sources, such as the business’s own website, public records and local news, and owners can correct their listing at any time.

Does a business pay to be listed here?

No. Listings are free and there is no paid placement. Owners who have joined the 702 Alliance appear first; everyone else follows by seat number. To add a locally owned business, use the free form, call (725) 202-7691 or text Cody at (725) 502-3114.
