A Summerlin kid's shop
Aaron Sidranski grew up in the Lakes, and once Summerlin was built his family bought in the original Willows neighborhood, just down the street from where Silver Post now sits in Downtown Summerlin. In a 2022 interview on Summerlin's website he said he picked the spot because so many of his past customers lived nearby. He runs the store with his wife, Sarah. They met online during his first year in business and chatted for months before she walked into the shop one day and he recognized her.
A 2020 Made.Vegas profile traces the family trade to Aaron's grandfather, who ran a store called El Paso Trading Post, and says Aaron left a casino executive job to build Silver Post.
Stones, silver and Native American work
The shop is part rock shop, part jewelry counter. Aaron says he buys minerals from Mexico, Brazil, India, Uruguay and the United States, has visited mines around the world, and deals directly with mine owners and makers. By his count, white buffalo turquoise is the top seller in jewelry and amethyst leads in home decor.

Aaron says almost everything is designed or made by the family or by artisans they work with, rather than bought from factories that mass-produce. The family also sells online through its Etsy shop.
Silver Post Designs
From the same suite, the family runs Silver Post Designs, which makes original souvenirs and art prints that can be customized. It supplies schools, sports teams, casinos, museums, retail shops and other groups.
