Bunker Dance Center on West Ann Road has been family-run since 1994, with classes from age two and pre-professional company teams. In Henderson, Ignite Dance Center, led by choreographer Lisa Prentice, teaches ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop and contemporary at two Horizon Ridge locations, and the Thigpen family’s Diamond Dance Studio teaches nine disciplines to ages 2 to 19, plus adult ballroom. Legacy Dance is Pamela Schumacher’s studio on South Gibson Road.
For ballroom and social dance, Elite Dance Studio on Fort Apache is a husband-and-wife studio that has coached competitors and taught wedding dances since 2013, and Feel The Music Dance Studio on South Rainbow teaches salsa, bachata and merengue.
