Siena Italian Trattoria & Deli is a family-recipe Italian restaurant and deli on West Sahara Avenue in Summerlin, with chef-owner Giancarlo Bomparola.
The Siena name goes back to 1978, when its deli opened in east Las Vegas, according to the restaurant’s own About page. The trattoria followed in 2010. Today the two share a 12,000-square-foot building at 9500 West Sahara Avenue, which the website places in Summerlin: a dining room, patio, bar lounge, private dining room, and the deli and bakery next door.
Giancarlo Bomparola’s kitchen
Executive chef Giancarlo Bomparola was raised in Milan. The About page says his kitchen makes its food from scratch every day, with dishes drawn from his heritage and family recipes. A February 2025 Nevada Business Magazine item names him as the owner. The restaurant’s tagline is “Bold, Authentic, Fresh,” and it calls the food “the most authentic Italian Cuisine in Las Vegas,” which is its own claim.
The online menu includes fettuccine Bolognese, eggplant Parmigiana, black-ink linguine with lobster, European branzino and a 14-ounce beef tagliata. Dessert is cannoli and tiramisu.
The deli
The deli sells imported Italian cheeses and meats such as provolone, capicola and mortadella, plus dry pasta, sauces, bread, prepared foods, gelato and desserts. It has its own phone line, 702-736-8424, apart from the restaurant’s 702-360-3358.

- Monday and Tuesday 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Wednesday to 10 p.m.; Thursday to 11 p.m.; Friday and Saturday to 11:30 p.m.

Siena also takes catering orders and hosts parties in its private dining room. The Nevada Business item adds that the restaurant has been voted “Best of Las Vegas” several times, most recently in 2021 and 2022; that is the item’s own wording, which we did not check against the award list.
