Sambalatte Torrefazione: Luiz Claudio Oliveira’s Specialty Coffee Roastery
Brazilian native Luiz Claudio Oliveira spent twenty-eight years in four- and five-diamond hotel food and beverage before walking away to chase coffee. Oliveira spent a decade visiting coffee farms across South America, Europe, and the United States, then opened Sambalatte Torrefazione — Caffè Lounge and Espresso Bar — at Boca Park in Summerlin in September 2010. The Sambalatte Torrefazione roastery now serves three Las Vegas locations and supplies wholesale accounts across the valley.
Sambalatte Torrefazione runs a full caffè-lounge concept rather than a coffee-to-go shop — espresso bar, roastery, food menu, and a sit-down room designed for extended visits. The Boca Park flagship at 750 South Rampart Boulevard has accumulated more than 1,140 verified Yelp reviews; additional Sambalatte locations operate at Town Square and the Monte Carlo on the Strip.

Sambalatte Torrefazione was one of the earliest Las Vegas Valley specialty coffee roasters to operate as a full caffè lounge concept. The Boca Park location anchors Summerlin’s coffee scene; the Town Square and Strip locations extend Oliveira’s reach across the valley’s residential and tourist submarkets.
