Daniel and Emily Rocha's 6,000-square-foot Polaris Avenue studio: black and grey realism, custom tattoos, piercing and permanent makeup.
Black and grey realism is the house specialty at Seven Tattoo Studio, a locally owned shop on Polaris Avenue, a few minutes from the airport, the Strip and Allegiant Stadium. Daniel and Emily Rocha opened the 6,000-square-foot studio in 2018, and it offers custom tattooing, piercing and permanent makeup under one roof.
Daniel and Emily Rocha
Daniel is a Las Vegas native who has tattooed since 2007; he learned partly by practicing on himself so he would not make mistakes on clients. He draws on religion, history and film, and his own books are limited to large-scale projects such as sleeves, back pieces and full panels designed as one composition. Those requests go through a submission and a short video consultation, called a Vision Call, before a quote is given.
Emily grew up in West Phoenix, worked as a medical assistant, and picked up business experience in criminal law after moving to Las Vegas. She runs operations, hosts the studio's seminars and does beauty tattooing.
Inside the studio
A 2025 Tattoo Life feature describes two main rooms with five stations each, plus space for piercing, permanent makeup, guest-artist seminars and client lounges. That article profiled Roberto, who tattoos here as Mr. Nobody: an artist from Ostia, near Rome, known for dark, layered pieces in which flowing negative lines wrap around skulls and other subjects.
What you can book
- Black and grey realism across most of the roster, including Enzo, Mike Andrade (with a darker edge) and Chase Otis (pieces rooted in Chicano culture)
- Statue-inspired realism from Marco; micro realism and geometric work from Hanz
- Color and illustrative tattoos from Janice, often anime, manga and pop culture
- Body piercing with a jewelry selection, handled by piercer Jay
- Permanent makeup with Emily, including restorative designs for breast cancer patients
- Aftercare products and Seven Gear apparel
In July 2022 the shop ran a back-to-school drive, trading a free flash tattoo to adults who brought $50 in school supplies for Las Vegas students and teachers in need.
Hours: Tuesday through Saturday, noon to 8 p.m.
