Kristen Marie Weddings + Portraits

As a teenager, Kristen Solis could spend eight hours a day in the darkroom making black-and-white prints under the red light, and she kept every scrap of test paper. She photographed her first wedding more than 17 years ago. Today she runs Kristen Marie Weddings + Portraits as its owner and photographer, working around Las Vegas and traveling for destination weddings.

She describes her style as timeless and relaxed, yet polished. She watches for the candid laughs and tears, but she also gives couples and families plenty of direction so they feel at ease, and her posing and editing stay natural so the pictures still feel right years later.

Wedding coverage

Full-day wedding collections are shaped around each couple's plans. Every one includes two photographers, a pre-wedding planning meeting, an engagement session, edited digital images in an online gallery, and ten sneak-peek images the day after. The engagement session is there on purpose: it gives her and the couple a chance to work together once before the wedding. The most popular collections cover 8 to 10 hours and can add a wedding album, parent albums and a guestbook, and elopement collections are available. Most galleries are delivered four to six weeks after the wedding.

Recent weddings on her site were held at the JW Marriott, Red Rock Resort, Resorts World, Hilton Lake Las Vegas and Reflection Bay, and Resorts World Las Vegas includes her on its preferred vendor list for wedding photography.
