Karissa Russ & Co: Las Vegas Native Photographing Vegas Elopements

Karissa Russ-Barrett was born and raised in Las Vegas and has built Karissa Russ & Co into one of the valley’s most recognizable independent wedding and elopement photography studios. Russ-Barrett shoots regularly at Seven Magic Mountains, Red Rock Canyon, Rhodes Ranch, and the Valley of Fire — all of the iconic Las Vegas wedding backdrops — and has earned features on multiple wedding-industry platforms across her career. She runs the business with a small team and has built her reputation on affordable pricing combined with award-recognized output.

Karissa Russ & Co is mobile rather than storefront-based; Russ-Barrett meets couples on location for engagements, elopements, and full wedding shoots. The work spans short downtown ceremonies through full destination elopements at the Vegas-area natural locations that have made the city a national elopement market.

Karissa Russ & Co in the Las Vegas Valley

Las Vegas is one of the largest wedding and elopement markets in the country, and the natural-landscape options around the valley — Red Rock, Valley of Fire, Seven Magic Mountains — have made the area a destination for couples wanting a non-Strip aesthetic. Karissa Russ & Co’s positioning as a Las Vegas native shooting all of those iconic Las Vegas Valley locations gives the studio a hometown credibility most destination photographers don’t have.
