HAS Jewels is Shannon Ruther’s Summerlin studio for crystal-embellished t-shirts, handmade jewelry, original art and upcycled furniture, sold online and at First Friday.
Shannon Ruther started HAS Jewels because a friend asked if she had any iron-on transfers. She makes t-shirts embellished with crystals, handmade vintage-style jewelry, art and upcycled furniture in her Summerlin studio, and sells them online, at First Friday in the Las Vegas Arts District, and through local galleries and boutiques.
How it grew
Her listing on Made in Nevada, written in her own words, says the shirts sold first at First Friday downtown. She later added jewelry and art and opened her Etsy shop. In her application to the 702 Alliance she says she has made art in Las Vegas since 2007 and that the Etsy shop has been open for 15 years. An older version of her Made in Nevada listing says ten.

She describes herself as a local artist and designer who does all of the designing and making herself. Everything is made in her Summerlin studio, which is not a walk-in shop. Orders and custom requests go through her online shops or by phone at 702-908-1414.
Where to find it
Shannon says her shirt line is carried at Vasari in Tivoli Village, the fine art and home decor store in Summerlin. She also names local artist galleries and boutiques among the places she sells, without listing them here. Because she sells worldwide online, HAS Jewels takes orders from well beyond the valley, but Summerlin is home base.
Shannon Ruther also runs Hypnotic Wellness Center, a separate hypnotherapy practice in Summerlin. HAS Jewels is her art business, and she says it is locally owned and independently operated, not a chain or franchise.
