Boulder City Soap & Candle Co. is a family-owned soap and candle shop on Nevada Way in Boulder City, Nevada, making small-batch bar soap, candles and bath products.
Sabrina Russo, a Nevada native, owns Boulder City Soap & Candle Co., the handmade soap and candle shop at 501 Nevada Way in downtown Boulder City. BoulderCity.com reported in March 2022 that the shop had been set to close when its previous owner, Kim, planned to move away. Russo bought it instead and kept the downtown location and the existing recipes, so familiar scents stayed on the shelves.
A family shop
The same article calls the store “family owned and operated.” Russo’s mother, Carol, and longtime employee Monique were part of the shop then, and the article describes Monique as part of the “Boulder City Soap and Candle Company family.” The shop’s own contact page uses the same phrase, family-owned and operated, and says messages go to the founder. It does not name anyone.
What it makes
The shop’s website says its products are handcrafted from scratch in small batches, and that every ingredient is listed on the label. The line it repeats is “Keep it Clean.” The website describes its bar soap as cold-process and says it uses farm-fresh goat’s milk.
- Bar soap in seasonal and regular scents, plus a Skin Restore Lotion Bar
- Candles, essential oils, bath bombs, salt and sugar scrubs, and shower steamers, as listed in the 2022 article
- A men’s line with soaps, a shaving cream and a deep-cleaning scrub
- Soap bags, soap dishes and gift cards
